- Managing 30 headcounts.
the role
- Oversee the electrical maintenance of three manufacturing facilities in Malaysia.
- Supervise maintenance of induction furnaces, shaft furnaces, and associated electrical systems.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians, promoting collaboration and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and best practices.
- Manage industrial automation systems, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, DC drives, and inverters.
- Maintain 33kV power distribution systems, transformers, and LV systems.
- Execute projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Design and implement energy efficiency programs to reduce consumption and improve sustainability.
- Effectively manage contractors, ensuring quality and safety standards.
- Stay updated on energy markets and electricity-related regulations to support business strategy.
- Operationalize new production plants, integrating advanced electrical systems and technologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including authorities and government agencies.
